5 Steps to Taking Part

Entries are invited from:

  • Cambridgeshire Schools
  • Cambridgeshire Sixth Form Centres
  • Sports clubs, Brownies, Cubs...
  • Individuals
  • Teaching staff - we again invite you to submit Teachflicks.

Since 2008, over a thousand young people, their parents and teachers, walk the red carpet at an ‘OSCAR’ style celebration to see if their film has won an award or perhaps the ultimate ‘BEST OF FESTIVAL’

To share your creative work with a wider audience, make sure you submit before 4pm May 31st and make sure that your film submission meets the rules of entry and current years' categories and is suitable for entry and publishing - get creative!

Step1: Register

Please fill in the form to register an interest and check the 2013 Categories, Rules and Judging Criteria (pdf).

Step 2: Make your film

Ensure your film meets the criteria for your age group, set out in the information you received when you registered.

Take note of anything that you feel might be of interest to the judges as you can submit a Word, Pages or PDF document as supporting evidence.

Step 3: Submit your entry

Make sure your film is ready to submit and arrive with us before 4pm on 31st May.

Please provide any supporting evidence that you feel may be of interest to the judges.

We strongly advise you don't leave this until the last minute incase you experience any technical difficulties!

Step 4: See if your film has been nominated for an award

Nominated entries will be announced here on 19th June.

Step 5: Announcement of winners and presentation of awards

All nominated entries will be invited to attend either the Primary or Secondary Awards Ceremony where the winners will be announced.

Make sure you have the dates kept clear in your diary and you've planned your outfit to 'dress to impress'!

Tickets for the Primary Awards event will be allocated during the week of 24th June, with any requests for extra tickets being allocated during the following week.  We appreciate that this can make it difficult for schools to get transportation organised but please bear in mind that there is a lot of behind the scenes planning going on at this stage.

We look forward to seeing your film on the Silver Screen!
